What's on Tap Tonight
Seven beers pour from the taps every day, in 330 ml or 500 ml glasses. On the craft side there are HOLZ Belgian Blonde (55/70 lei) and HOLZ IPA (55/70 lei), plus HOLZ Munich Helles (45/60 lei) and wheaty HOLZ Weissbier (45/60 lei) if you like it cleaner. AGA and Goldbier (both 45/60 lei) are easy session picks, and Kozel Dark (45/60 lei) covers the dark beer camp. For visitors the maths is friendly: a full 500 ml glass tops out at 70 lei. Local craft sits next to imported names, all poured fresh from the tap.
Beer Snacks That Feed the Whole Table
The house speciality is the Mega Beer Platter, 450 lei, sized for 2-4 people: breaded fried fish, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, fries, beef croquettes, garlic croutons and 4 dipping sauces. Smaller groups can go for the regular beer platter, or do what locals do and order mici, grilled Moldovan meat rolls at 15 lei apiece; they were made for cold beer. There is also a running promo where an assorted wings platter comes with a free glass of draft beer. Come hungry: portions here are pub sized, not hotel bar sized.
Football Upstairs: Big Screens, Cold Pints
If there is a match on during your stay, head to the upstairs hall: two 85 inch Samsung 4K screens, room for up to 40 people, and the draft taps just a few steps away. No need to decode a foreign TV schedule from your hotel room: the game is on here, the beer is cold, and if you time your order right, the mici land on the table by half time.
Driving or Not Drinking? Sorted
Renting a car in Moldova or just taking a night off? HOLTZ ZERO (330 ml, 60 lei) is a proper alcohol-free beer, kept as cold as everything else on the list. The bottle fridge also holds HOLTZ Bruna (500 ml, 75 lei), a darker and fuller pour, and Corona Extra (355 ml, 70 lei). And since you are in Moldova, the wine list stays local: Purcari, Cricova and Fautor are names worth trying while you are in the country. Free parking at the door makes the designated driver's job easier too.
